Shauna grew up in Calgary and currently resides in Strathmore, Alberta.    Self-taught, her love of photography blossomed while raising her sons, Bret and Tom, on the family farm near Rockyford.  

She believes photography is about capturing an emotion in an image.   Whether it's the beauty of nature, a unique "soul" portrait of an individual or an image portraying the joy and love between family members; capturing that special moment always brings a smile to her face.
